
Since the 1990s, ActionSpace’s Central London studio has been located within Cockpit Bloomsbury, in the heart of the city’s cultural district.
Facilitated by a dedicated team: Associate Artist Lisa Brown, and Artist Facilitators Rebekah Cameron and Lisa Muten. Each began their journey with ActionSpace as a volunteer and now lead weekly studio sessions with a close knit group of artists working across drawing, painting and mixed media.
Some of the artists here include Andrew Omoding, Thompson Hall, and Sharon Adokorach, each with distinctive practices. Cockpit’s central location makes it ideal for connection and visibility, and many of our artists have gone on to exhibit in major London institutions.

Directions:
Cockpit Bloomsbury is located just off Northington Street. The studio entrance is on the first floor in the East Wing. If you enter Cockpit Yard you will see a door on your left with the Cockpit sign. Come up to the first floor where you will find a large board with buzzers. Ring ‘ActionSpace Studio’.
Nearest tube: Chancery Lane (Central line), Holborn (Central/Piccadilly lines), Russell Square (Piccadilly line) and Kings Cross tube.
