Artist Linda Bell in collaboration with Sam Haynes
ActionSpace artist Linda Bell creates intricate, interactive art works that explore the tactile qualities of different materials. She uses a combination of binding, bending, stuffing and wrapping to carefully construct her playful, sculptural pieces.
Sam Haynes has been designing artworks for public spaces since 1995. During that time she has successfully sited work in a number of different locations, including parks, urban walkways, residential developments, offices and restaurants. Commissioners have included Amnesty International, Conran’s restaurant group and the deafblind charity, Sense. www.sam-haynes.co.uk
For Festival of Love Linda and Sam shared their love of these playful tactile processes and created a series of site-specific sculptures, which stretched out in space and squashed and squeezed together.
