Evan Bond: I can only dream of living things being made out of letters

Celebrate Camden Arts Centre’s SEN school programme’s annual exhibition with ActionSpace artist Evan Bond!

21 July – 29 August 2021

Time: 6.00-8.30pm

Location: Camden Art Centre, Arkwright Road, London NW3 6DG

ActionSpace artist Evan Bond has worked with artists Lydia CS and Natalie Zervou-Kerruish as the workshop co-leaders on Camden Art Centre’s Special Educational Needs (SEN) School Programme. ‘I can only dream of living things being made out of letters‘ is an exhibition celebrating the voices, artwork and experiences of young people involved in the programme.

This year’s workshops were greatly impacted due to the global pandemic. Workshop co-leaders Evan Bond, Lydia CS and Natalie Zervou-Kerruish worked with students from Oaklodge School in Barnet and Shaftsbury High School in Harrow via zoom. The project artists lead online sessions and worked with teachers to deliver creative digital sessions.

Evan Bond is the second artist that ActionSpace has supported to work with Camden Art Centre as a workshop leader on their SEN Schools Programme. His recruitment continues ActionSpace’s successful partnership with Camden Art Centre to create employment opportunities for artists with learning disabilities.
