Evan Bond
Evan Bond’s work is based on sociological and political events that are happening in the world today. In his drawings Evan builds up detailed, colourful images to depict different narratives that he finds of interest. Evan often takes techniques from the Surrealist movement, which influence and lend themselves well to his ideas.
His drawings explore dystopian scenarios that could possibly happen based upon social and political current events: “My artwork includes famous people and politicians such as Boris Johnson as well as socioeconomic types such as the hipster elite and zeitgeist meisters.”- Evan Bond
Evan is using stop motion animation, combining sound and image to explore his own stories and narratives.
Between 2019-2022 Evan was a workshop co-leader for Camden Art Centre’s SEN Schools Programme.
