We’re pleased to celebrate the success of ActionSpace artists Sharon Adokorach and Adam Crown, whose work were selected for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025. Out of five ActionSpace artists who reached the shortlisting stage, Sharon and Adam were chosen to exhibit alongside a wide-ranging group of emerging and established artists.
About the Artists
Adam Crown
Adam Crown’s drawings and paintings are quiet and considered. He creates observational studies of people, birds, animals, and objects using pencil, ink, and watercolour. His work reflects a thoughtful engagement with the world around him, balancing precision with sensitivity.
Sharon Adokorach
Sharon Adokorach designs intricate, colourful patterns within patterns that draw viewers into richly layered, abstract landscapes. Working in pen, ink, printmaking, and painting, she often combines repeated small-scale works into ambitious large-scale sculptures and installations. Her practice is vibrant, meditative, and visually compelling.
Their selection to exhibit in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition underscores the depth and originality of the ActionSpace artist community and reinforces our mission to support and champion neurodivergent and learning disabled artists.

About the Exhibition
Held annually since 1769, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is one of the longest-running open-submission exhibitions in the world. It presents a wide variety of artworks across mediums and genres, offering a unique platform for artists to engage with a broad audience.
The 2025 exhibition was coordinated by Farshid Moussavi OBE RA, who selected “Dialogues” as the exhibition’s central theme. In her curatorial statement, Farshid highlighted art’s power “to forge dialogues and to afford us sensitivity towards societal concerns, such as ecology, survival and living together. These dialogues can be between people of different races, genders, or cultures; between humans, all species, and the planet; or across different disciplines – art, science, politics for example.” [Read Farshid Moussavi’s full statement here.]
The Summer Exhibition Committee 2025 included Royal Academicians Tom Emerson, Stephanie Macdonald, Vanessa Jackson, Christopher Le Brun, Sikelela Owen, Helen Sear, Caragh Thuring, and Richard Wilson, who guided the curation and selection process.
