As part of the Rights in Focus Conference, ActionSpace’s Sheryll Catto (Co-Director) and Charlotte Hollinshead (Associate Artist) will giving a presentation entitled Creating the Bigger Picture.  Sheryll and Charlotte will discuss how ActionSpace supports artists with learning disabilities to develop and maintain successful professional practices and creates innovative opportunities for Londoners with learning disabilities to engage with the visual arts.

For Linda Bell’s workshop, participants will work together to develop an installation using Linda’s process of threading, stretching and binding around and onto a wooden frame.

For Mark Lawrence’s workshop, participants will use reflective materials and Mark’s film projections as a basis to explore new projection work, experiment with reflections, colour and light.

The Politics of Engagement conference will explore how social justice agendas can inform the challenges, practice and discourse of arts engagement.
