We are thrilled to announce that ActionSpace artist Linda Bell will be showcasing her work as part of UNIQLO Tate Play at Tate Modern from 28 March to 12 April 2026. The installation, titled  Loop. Swing. Shake. Remake, invites visitors to engage with the sensory, performative nature of Linda’s work in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Linda Bell is renowned for her large-scale, interactive sculptural works that invite exploration, touch, and movement. Her pieces are built from tactile materials like foil, paper, and fabric, chosen for their ability to transform through reshaping and assembly. Movement is essential to Linda’s process, as the sculptures evolve through interaction, whether by her own hands or those of the audience.

Loop. Swing. Shake. Remake is a celebration of sensory exploration. As you interact with the sculptures, notice how the light, colours, and textures shift with each movement. Listen to the sounds they make as they creak, rustle, and bend. Feel the transformation in your own body as you swing, shake, and reshape the sculptures alongside others.

Watch Linda’s Creative Process

In addition to the interactive installation, visitors can watch a specially commissioned film where Linda shares the behind-the-scenes process of how she creates her sculptural works. This film captures her exploration of materials and movement, offering insight into her experimental approach and inspiring ways you can engage with the artwork.
