Join ActionSpace artist Linda Bell for an interactive workshop as part of the Tourettes Hero Rise of the Rebels event.
Inspired by Linda’s sculptural and performative practice, help Linda make a giant sculpture that explores the sensory nature of materials and their movement. The workshop is also in response to the Rebel Play Archive, a concept at the core of the event. Rebel Play is an intergenerational, disabled-led, practice-based research project which collects and shares the positive play experiences of disabled children and adults.
Rise of the Rebels is for disabled and non-disabled children and young people aged 6 – 25. Younger children can attend too but will need to be closely supervised by an adult. All children attending the event will need to come with an adult over 18.
Please note that adults over 25 will not be able to attend without a child unless they have contributed to the project and have received a specific invite.
