Linda Bell was commissioned by the British Museum to lead a series of online workshops and a final event for their ‘Get Creative’ community outreach programme. The British Museum outreach team sourced objects from their collections relevant to Linda’s practice. A wonderful fusion of Linda’s artworks, making processes and ancient objects were explored together. The participants then followed Linda’s lead through multiple processes of ripping, shaping and attaching materials to create two significant sculptural artworks for playful, interactive and movement exploration. Together, online, Linda led a group performance with a joyous billowing, shaking and swinging of the artworks.
