Yet more well deserved recognition for Nnena Kalu, and this time from our friends in Norway, for Nnena’s exhibition Creations of Care at Kunsthall Stavanger gallery in 2025.
Earlier this month, the Norwegian Critics’ Association announced the three nominated exhibitions from 2025 for the Art Critics’ Award:
- Nnena Kalu: Creations of Care, Kunsthall Stavanger
- Taterlandet, Nitja Centre for Contemporary Art and Guttormsgaard’s archive
- Lutz Bacher: Burning the Days, Astrup Fearnley Museet
The winner will be announced in the spring this year, and the art critics’ prize awarded for the 18th time. The winner is chosen by process of ballot by the art section members of the association. The prize is designed by visual artist Arne Nøst.
