All four bring enormous experience, expertise and commitment which will enhance ActionSpace’s governance and strategic leadership. They join the Board at a challenging yet exciting time.
John Tizard, Chair of the ActionSpace Board said:
“ActionSpace has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic with agility and an absolute focus on supporting the artists. Whilst over the next six months this response will evolve the Directors and Board will be looking to shape a long-term strategy and plans to ensure that the charity fulfils its mission, secures its sustainability and significantly increases its impact.
We are truly fortunate that Beth, Fleur, Simon and Anthony have joined us as Trustees. They are well respected recognised professionally as people who make a difference. They share our values and our commitment to ensuring that people with learning disabilities should not be marginalised in the arts and are entitled express their creativity and to realise their ambitions.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Beth, Fleur, Simon and Anthony, and to say a big thank you to Karen Noakes, Marc Steene and Antoinette O’Loughlin, who have retired from the Board, for their remarkable contribution over many years.”
