ActionSpace artist Kwaga Sillingi has been selected to exhibit in the virtual exhibition ArtWorks Together 2021 as part of their international arts competition. Kwaga’s painting ‘Circles’ was chosen as one of 35 artworks by international artists with learning disabilities. ArtWorks Together is a new international arts competition which celebrates the work of artists with learning disabilities, autism or both and showcases 34 artists from 13 different countries.
As part of the competition a panel of judges will choose 9 artworks to be exhibited at WentWorth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire in May 2021. Judges include Tony Heaton OBE (Sculptor and Chair of Shape Arts), Alison Lapper MBE (Artist), James Lingwood (Co-Director of Artangel), Michael Morris (Co-Director of Artangel) and Helen Pheby (Head of Curatorial Programme at Yorkshire Sculpture Park)
