Helen Biney‘s artwork will be displayed as part of the set design for headliners Stick in the Wheel’s gig at Rough Trade’s Kartel Music presents: The Summer Solstice. Helen Biney will show effervescent and playful textile sculptural works, made of bright colours and ranging textures.
Helen Biney’s joyous, playful textile pieces made from salvaged and found materials encompass the spirit of celebration and resonate with the folklore of many different cultures. Helen is a Londoner of Ghanaian heritage, currently living in the East End.
