An immersive and experimental exhibition of works by Brent learning disabled artists
10 – 13 December 2024
Canalside Gallery, ASC Ealing Road, 243 Ealing Road, Alperton, London, HA0 1QL
Imaginary Landscapes was an exhibition showcasing experimental artworks created in our Brent studio at ASC Ealing Road by students and young people from The Inclusion Project and The Village School.
Over three months, we ran a series of workshops co-led by our specialist Brent Artist Facilitator, Emily Rees-Haynes and ActionSpace resident artists Daniel Seneviratne and Benjamin Allen. Working with young people from The Inclusion Project and pupils from The Village School, the workshops explored experimental processes to art making and the opportunity for ActionSpace artists to run their own workshops based on their distinct artistic practices.
The exhibition showcased and celebrated artworks made in these projects titled Brent Beyond the Studio and marked the first phase of our National Lottery Community Fund 3-year programme of art workshops for learning disabled Brent residents. Learn more about our Brent Beyond the Studio projects.
Artworks by our Brent resident artists were also on display in our studio next to the gallery.
This project was made possible by The National Lottery Award from The National Lottery Community Fund.
