“I start from my mind. It’s a different world, the world of dreams. My ideas come to me from nowhere.
I see images in my mind like constructions. I build my pictures with lines, imagining them coming to life.
I get inspired by films and TV shows. I drew Knight Rider vs Goliath and I drew AirWolf.
When I close my eyes, I see shapes like a 3-pointed star.
When I think of an idea, I create a film set like a warehouse for West Side Story.
The colours I use remind me of a colourful coat – the coat of many colours!
I have a clear picture in my mind. I start drawing and the picture grows. I draw straight lines because I like it looking neat, a line’s never ending … like the story” Danny Ransford
