Seamus Furey

Seamus Furey explores blocks of colour and mark-making in his vibrant paintings and drawings. Often choosing specific colours based on what he has chosen to wear and what has inspired him that day: ‘Aqua Blue’, ‘Minty Green’ ‘Burgundy Red’, Bright Orange’. Sometimes blending and mixing colours on the surface to explore and create greater possibilities in the colours. Changing his brush strokes within each piece, Seamus creates different texture, movement and layers within the work so the colour is never static.
