ActionSpace artist Andrew Omoding delivered a workshop and performance for Camden Art Centre’s 60th Anniversary celebrations

To mark its 60th anniversary on Saturday 19th July 2025, Camden Art Centre hosted a day-long celebration of workshops, performances, family activities, and exhibition tours. ActionSpace artist Andrew Omoding led two hands-on art-making workshops inspired by his 2024 exhibition Animals to Remember Uganda.

Participants explored Andrew’s sculptural techniques of weaving and repurposing materials, culminating in a joyful community procession that brought his practice to life. The sessions were open to all ages, with limited spaces available for drop-in attendees on the day.

With thanks to Camden Art Centre for their ongoing collaboration and support of ActionSpace’s artists.
