Ophir Yaron and Immanuel Adelowo: Autograph’s Family SEND Programme

We’re excited to share that Ophir Yaron has joined Autograph’s Family Workshops for Children with SEND as Co-Lead Artist, with Immanuel Adelowo supporting the programme as Workshop Assistant from mid-summer.

Ophir began her role on 10 May 2025, and will co-lead eight monthly workshops at Autograph Gallery in Hackney, London. She is working in collaboration with artist Amy Leung They meet every month to co-plan and prepare sessions that are responsive to the needs and interests of participating families.

About the ActionSpace artists

Ophir’s artwork takes inspiration from various aspects of her life, which she expresses through words, colours, and patterns. She is known for her strong understanding of composition, mark making, and colour. Ophir enjoys experimenting with a range of materials, from paints to inks, all grounded in her foundation of drawing. Ophir previously worked as a co-workshop leader at Friday Afternoon Art Club at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2019.

Immanuel brings experience from Vital Mix: Paint Live, where he co-delivered live painting sessions for diverse audiences at Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2025. While newer to co-leading workshops, Immanuel’s precise approach to painting and drawing involves depicting imagined yet highly specific places, blending memory, digital images, and real-world observations. Immanuel often uses surreal contrasts, such as placing small, everyday objects in vast landscapes, to create thought-provoking scenes that explore the relationships between spaces, objects, and memory.

About the programme

Autograph’s Family SEND Programme offers free, artist-led creative workshops and accessible resources for families with children who have complex needs. The programme creates a welcoming, inclusive space where children and families can explore, play, and make art together.

We’re thrilled to see Ophir and Immanuel bringing their creativity and experience to this programme, and to see ActionSpace artists shaping accessible, inclusive arts practice beyond our own studios.
