ActionSpace is proud to be part of Wandsworth Borough of Culture 2025 – a year-long celebration of creativity that will bring every part of the borough to life through art, culture and community.
The Mayor of London’s London Borough of Culture award highlights the rich diversity of the capital and puts culture at the heart of local communities. It supports work that is designed and led by local people, creating space for shared experiences and new connections.
Through our innovative programme Make it Live, ActionSpace artists will be delivering a series of workshops and events throughout the year. These activities are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and engaging – bringing creative opportunities to people where they are.
Our programme includes:
- In-person workshops for adults with complex learning disabilities, in partnership with Wandsworth-based learning disability service providers.
- Live-streamed online art events, where participants can join in from schools, community groups or home.
- Exhibition and events with Wandsworth-based learning disabled artists.
These events are designed to support full accessibility and creative participation for people with high support needs – ensuring everyone has a chance to take part in Wandsworth’s year of culture.
