After 20 years we said a temporary goodbye to our old South London home at Studio Voltaire whilst they embark on a £2.4 million development project to re-develop the site into a state of the art cultural venue. This will re-open in Autumn 2020.
In this development the ActionSpace studio will expand, enabling our artists the space and facilities to explore new creative possibilities.
Studio Volatire state:
“We will safeguard and broaden the provision of workspace for artists with complex needs through our partnership with leading disability arts organisation ActionSpace, who will expand their current onsite studio provision by 300%.”
In the meantime, our South London artists have moved to a temporary studio at ASC Studios in Brixton where we continue to run three studio projects.
