We welcome our new Pastoral Care Co-ordinator, Maisie Rennie-Carter
Introducing our new Pastoral Care Co-ordinator Maisie Rennie-Carter, who joined ActionSpace in the Autumn of 2024. Maisie has a BA degree in Textiles and brings to ActionSpace a wealth of knowledge and experience of supporting learning disabled children and adults in schools and play schemes.
Maisie shares more about her role at ActionSpace and what she is looking forward to over the next few months:
‘I was drawn to the role as I wanted to be part of providing a safe, supportive and creative environment for learning disabled artists. In my role I enjoy getting to know the artists and seeing them in their creative element in the studio.
Each day I support the wellbeing of our artists by listening to any concerns and working with the rest of the team to keep the studios a positive and safe place where each artist feels comfortable and valued.
Over the next year I am excited to see the artist’s continue to grow creatively and the future exhibitions they have coming up!’
