Creative Spaces Programme at the NPG

Creative Spaces is a project enabling learning disabled artists to take advantage of the Gallery’s art studio for the development of their own work. Exploring the Gallery’s Collection and portraiture, the Gallery supports artists through 8- week creative art courses.

During the course, artists have the opportunity to use the studio and art materials to develop their own practice, experiment, research ideas using the Gallery and its Collection, make large scale works, explore new techniques, share skills and be part of an artists’ community.

The next programme is taking place on the following dates from 10.30-2pm:
