We are excited that ActionSpace Artist Andrew Omoding is taking part in a new action research project with Craftspace as part of the Radical Craft exhibition in partnership with Outside In. In the run-up to the exhibition, Andrew’s art-making process will be observed and documented by anthropologist Trevor Marchand.
Andrew and Trevor will work together at ACAVA‘s studios in West London over the coming months.
Craftspace is a crafts development organisation pushing boundaries and conceptions of crafts practice, presentation and learning.
Outside In provides a platform for artists who see themselves as facing barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation.
Trevor Marchand is a social anthropologist whose research explores skill learning and creative practice.
Look out for more details as the project progresses.
