Ricardo Cohen

 

Ricardo Cohen creates large scale layered pieces using a variety of materials and methods; including painting, sewing and collage. His work is primarily text based and often relies on dialogue between himself and fellow artists. The work makes explicit references to the names of people, places and events that are part of his daily life, where written layers of words amass to become textured and abstract records. Ricardo Cohen is part of the ActionSpace Brent studio group.
