Jerry Abraham

Jerry Abraham’s large drawings and paintings express his unique take on the natural world. Reoccurring motifs include tropical birds with big brown eyes, capturing personality within each one, plants with large flowing leaves fill the paper whilst flowers with bold colourful petals grown in warm golden suns. These he uses as stand-alone subjects or in combination to create striking forms alive with colour.

Jerry works mostly in oil pastel and oils, often combining the pastels with paint to achieve a depth of colour and impact that is impossible to ignore.

His recent works explore print and ceramics developing new skills to inform his expressive drawn lines.
