ActionSpace seeks a Marketing & Admin Assistant
ActionSpace is London’s leading and longest running visual arts organisation for artists with learning disabilities. Our vision is for artists with learning disabilities to be at the heart of the visual arts sector. As one of only four organisations in London to receive an uplift in Arts Council England’s 2018-22 National Portfolio Organisation funding round, we are entering into an exciting new period of development. This will include expanding our exhibitions and events programme and developing new partnerships in the contemporary visual arts sector to create more opportunities for artists with learning disabilities.
We are seeking a forward-thinking Marketing & Admin Assistant who can bring their ideas, energy and enthusiasm to:
- assisting the General Manager to grow and develop ActionSpace’s profile as one of the UK’s premier supported studios for artists with learning disabilities.
- providing robust administrative support in order to ensure the organisation is able to continue carrying out its work to the high standard it has become known for.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, enjoy using their initiative to generate new ideas and find solutions, and be a self-starter ready to support colleagues at all levels.
This role is based in our centrally located office in Holborn and the successful candidate will also visit our projects across London.
The Marketing & Admin Assistant will work 3 days a week.
Salary: £19,500 per annum pro rata
This is a fixed term contract for 1 year. Start date will be negotiated with the successful candidate at time of job offer.
