Linda Bell’s workshop at Pursuing Independent Paths

On 12 June 2017, Linda Bell co-led a workshop at Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) to inspire their service users.
Linda shared some of her practice and the ways that she works with the participants. She led by example, working alongside them to create large-scale temporary structures and wearable artworks that can be engaged and played with.

Linda’s artistic practice involves making interactive work.  She uses sculpture and installation, exploring a wide range of materials, all with a strong tactile quality.

Linda filled the room with joy and possibility as the PIP crowd/participants wrapped and constructed a myriad of shapes and forms, following her instruction, animating their daycentre space.
