Jackie Murin’s drawings explore the human form, often including notes about physical features, clothing, etc. She works in pencil, watercolour and acrylic, sometimes sketching experimentally and at other times creating confident, colourful portraits of herself and the people around her.
She has recently moved into the abstract, based on her surroundings but always very concerned with the mixing of the paint and the importance of her colour palette. This she then uses to interpret her form. She has also revisited her love of 3D using paper mache to create her drawn ideas.
